Oilers players react to firing of Dallas Eakins

When the Edmonton Oilers were blanked 2-0 by the New York Rangers at Rexall Place on Sunday night, it certainly seemed like the team had hit a wall. Not only was it the Oilers' fourth loss in a row, but it was also their 15th defeat in 16 games dating back to Nov. 11.

The dismissal of Eakins, who compiled a record of 36-63-14 since taking over the team at the start of the 2013-14 season, is likely just the first shoe to drop.
