Former Canadiens defenceman cashes in on 1st shot in Nashville
P.K. Subban wasted no time in making an impression on his teammates and fans in Nashville.
In his regular-season debut with the Predators, the 27-year-old defenceman scored on the power play, beating Chicago's Corey Crawford with a slapshot from the point at 7:46 in the first period on Friday night.
The subsequent celebration was pure P.K.

The reaction to P.K. Subban's goal was one of the loudest cheers I've heard at Bridgestone Arena since I've been here.

Subban's first goal in his new uniform was assisted by Ryan Johansen and Filip Forsberg. The Predators went on to defeat Chicago 3-2.
The NHL world was rocked by the off-season blockbuster trade that sent Subban from Montreal to Nashville.
PK Subban is going to put up 100 points just to piss Montreal off. <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/FantasyHockey?src=hash">#FantasyHockey</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Predators?src=hash">#Predators</a>

The Canadiens received veteran blue-liner Shea Weber in return. Weber made a quieter first impression with Montreal, earning an assist on Brendan Gallagher's second goal in the team's 4-1 victory over Buffalo on Thursday.
