'The Penny' will have a shot at making history if she can capture a fourth medal in Thursday night's 100-metre freestyle event.
And if Wednesday night's social media reaction was any indication, you can expect an entire nation to be behind her again on Thursday.

Penny Oleksiak is 16-years-old and has 3 Olympic medals. Most would be happy with passing a driving test. <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Rio2016?src=hash">#Rio2016</a> <a href="https://t.co/zJudAvSalh">pic.twitter.com/zJudAvSalh</a>
