Canada falls to Brazil in men's volleyball
Team drops its 2nd preliminary match in 4 sets

Canada was unable to pull of a second consecutive upset, dropping its preliminary-round match to Brazil 3-1 on Tuesday.

The scores of the sets were 24-26, 25-18, 125-22, 25-17.
Things looked promising for Canada when it came from behind to win the opening set, but the Brazilian side, buoyed by a raucous home crowd, won the next three to move into first place in Pool A.
Ricardo Lucarelli had match-high 14 spikes for Brazil, the No. 1-ranked team in the world.
The Canadians, which failed to qualify for the five previous summer Games, stunned the fifth-ranked Americans in their opening match.

They now find themselves tied in third place of Pool A with France, who they play on Thursday. Only the top four of six teams in each pool advance to the quarter-finals.
