Injury forces Canada's Baptiste Brochu out of men's snowboard cross

Canadian snowboarder Baptise Brochu has pulled out of the men's snowboard cross competition after suffering an injury in training.

Canadian snowboarder Baptise Brochu has pulled out of the men's snowboard cross competition after suffering an injury in training yesterday.

The Saguenay, Que., native landed awkwardly in training and suffered a bone bruise and a small crack in the tibial plateau. He was examined by team doctors and it was deemed that he was unfit to compete.
