Canoe-kayak World Cup opener

Mark de Jonge and Émilie Fournel lead Canada's canoe-kayak squad into the first ICF World Cup event of the season in Duisburg, Germany.

Other Canadians competing at the weekend event include Alex Scott (Bedford, N.S.) in men's kayak, Pierre-Luc Laliberté (Otterburn Park, Que.) in men's canoe, Katie Vincent (Mississauga, Ont.) in women's canoe, and Nadya Crossman-Serb (Winnipeg) in women's canoe.
