Tory Nyhaug gives us 1st look at #Rio2016 BMX track
Pan Am Games gold medallist says just a few touchups needed
BMX racer and 2015 Pan Am Games gold medallist, Tory Nyhaug, is currently training in Brazil and testing the Rio 2016 BMX track at the Olympic BMX Centre.

—@Tnyhaug49He posted the following video to his Facebook page, giving a first-person look at what it's like to ride the track, with the comment, "I had an amazing time in Rio riding the Olympic track these last few days. The changes that were made are great, and I think with a few more touchups the track will be fantastic."
This is good news, and shows progress after the Olympic BMX Centre got less-than-positive reviews back in October during the Olympic test event, with some athletes choosing not to ride, and Nyhaug stating, "it's still not race ready."
It's not all work and no play for Nyhaug. With a cancelled practice he and travel buddy Connor Fields, Team USA BMX Olympian, had the chance to take in some fresh ocean air.
