Canada's Sarah Pavan and Melissa Humana-Paredes continued their strong season by defeating Anouk Verge-Depre and Joana Heidrich of host Switzerland to take bronze at the FIVB beach volleyball World Tour event in Gstaad on Saturday.

The Canadians won the match 21-15, 21-12 to reach the podium for the second-straight week.

The Canadian duo, who are playing their first full season together, won gold last week in Croatia. It was the first victory for Pavan and Humana-Paredes and neither had previously recorded a victory on the Tour.

Pavan, 30, and Humana-Paredes, 24, also claimed silver earlier this season when they were defeated by the Brazilian side in Rio in May.Â
