Formula 1 car races down Kitzbuehel's Streif ski course
Airlifted to spot on famed downhill
What do you get when you send a race car down the famed downhill course in Kitzbuehel, Austria?
Not the disaster you might think.
Redbull Racing lived up to its #pushtheboundaries hashtag last week by placing a Formula 1 car on the Hahnenkamm mountain ahead of this week's World Cup men's downhill.
Nothing like a morning on the slopes. 🏂 <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/F1?src=hash">#F1</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/redbullAustria">@RedBullAustria</a> <a href="https://t.co/JWmkoNyucN">pic.twitter.com/JWmkoNyucN</a>

A helicopter airlifted the Red Bull RB7 car up to a specially designed section of the treacherous Streif course.

Just one month before the stunt, the RB7 was in Australia in 35-degree heat. Redbull's team added studded tires and snow chains amongst an engine redesign to make the car Kitzbuehel-ready.
F1 on snow. The biggest challenge for our live demo team yet? 🏂<a href="https://twitter.com/redbullAustria">@RedBullAustria</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/AustrianGP?src=hash">#AustrianGP</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/F1?src=hash">#F1</a> <a href="https://t.co/RWEvajPP7r">https://t.co/RWEvajPP7r</a>

Max Verstappen, 18, was tasked with driving the car.
Love skiing, but drifting a RB7 at Hahnenkamm was even better! 😎 <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/PushtheBoundaries?src=hash">#PushtheBoundaries</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/RedBull?src=hash">#RedBull</a> <a href="https://t.co/GLsx5unp6T">pic.twitter.com/GLsx5unp6T</a>

And of course, Redbull has some fantastic footage of the event.
This week, the Canadian men's alpine team will be among those competing in the World Cup super-G, combined and downhill races in Kitzbuehel.
Tough day at the office, 14th is not the that bad.... but it's not that good either! Onwards to <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Kitzbuhel?src=hash">#Kitzbuhel</a>
