Toutant's second-run score of 84.81 was enough to hold off teammate Mark McMorris, who took home the silver with a score of 84.60.

Mark McMorris knocked Maxence Parrot to the second step on Saturday, Sebastien Toutant forced McMorris to settle for second in slopestyle,

Markus Cleveland of Norway used a second-run score of 84.16 to secure a bronze medal.

"I was waiting for that win for so long," Toutant said. "I've been kind of struggling to put down my last trick at every contest this year. To finally be able to put down a good run and to come out with a win in Quebec is awesome."

On the women's side, Brooke Voigt of Fort McMurray, Alta., claimed bronze with a score of 67.43. 

Julia Marino and Jamie Anderson completed an American one-two finish ahead Voigt. Marino topped the podium with 76.43, while Anderson's best score was 72.78.
