CBC News is connecting you with Pan Am and Parapan Am athletes through a special initiative, #OurAthletes.  

Check your local CBC website often starting June 12 to hear from the athletes in your region who are competing at the Games this summer. They'll give you an inside peek into their sports, training, the competition, their hobbies and passions plus all about their experience before and during the Games.
