On Wednesday at the Parapan Am Games, Canada celebrated a new heap of medals on home soil. Here are some of the best social moments from the day's events.

Devin Gotell shared a golden win with Paralympian medallist Chelsey Gotell.

Toronto city councillor Mark Grimes also shared in Devin Gotell's medal and yet another Canadian sweep of the pool podium. 

 

Triple-bronze medallist Zach Zona stopped by to chat with CBC Olympics. 

Pamela LeJean celebrates winning gold in women's shot put with a friend and Canadian archer Vanessa Lee.

Guillaume Ouellet takes a victory lap after winning another athletics gold for Canada on the track. 

Canada's boccia athletes take the stage to accept their silver medals. 

The Royal Canadian Mint shared a photo of what the Parapan Am Games winners would be taking with them. 

Lastly, Katarina Roxon celebrated earning silver in women's 200m IM SM10 alongside Aurelie Rivard, who won her fourth gold medal of the games in the same event.
