Canadian tennis player Milos Raonic withdrew from the Miami Open on Sunday due to a right hamstring injury, allowing qualifier Jared Donaldson to advance to the fourth round in a walkover.

Raonic was the third seed in the tournament and defeated Viktor Troicki 6-3, 7-5 in his opening match on Friday.

Raonic said his injury became progressively worse after his opening match, his first since Feb. 25. He expects to be sidelined at least two weeks and perhaps longer.

Raonic said he hasn't made it through an entire tournament healthy since Wimbledon last July.
