The 2025 Indspire Awards celebrate the extraordinary achievements of 12 Indigenous leaders in Canada
Tune in to CBC and CBC Gem on Saturday, June 21, to watch the Indspire Awards, an annual awards ceremony honouring Indigenous excellence.
What are the Indspire Awards?
Over 31 years, the Indspire Awards have honoured more than 400 First Nations, Inuit, and Métis individuals who demonstrate outstanding achievement in their communities and across the country in a variety of fields, including: the arts; business and commerce; culture, heritage and spirituality; education; health; language; law and justice; public service; and lifetime achievement. Three Youth Award winners are also honoured for their accomplishments, serving as role models to other First Nations, Inuit, and Métis youth.
Their stories are shared in the Indspire Awards, a nationally broadcast celebration that showcases the diversity of Indigenous peoples in Canada.
Through stunning animation and powerful live-action storytelling, the 2025 Indspire Awards will celebrate the enduring strength, culture, and potential of Indigenous peoples across Canada.
