YouTube star Mikey Bustos does Exhibitionists' Cultural Speedround

Mikey Bustos has "a couple million or so," he says, the result of his growing popularity on YouTube (by the way, the real number is over 47 million!). His parodies, covers, and his impressive handling of a 10-part acappella rendition of "Wake Me Up" by Avicii have only expanded on the love he got from fans of Canadian Idol, where he was one of the runners-up in 2003.

Most of us have about 68 views on our one or two videos on that YouTube channel we made one regrettable afternoon. Mikey Bustos has "a couple million or so," he says, the result of his growing popularity on the site (by the way, the real number is over 47 million!). His parodies, covers, and his impressive handling of a 10-part acappella rendition of "Wake Me Up" by Avicii have only expanded on the love he got from fans of Canadian Idol, where he was one of the runners-up in 2003.

Bustos has also worked for a Filipino radio station, is the owner of an antkeeping shop, and has appeared in commercials, and opened for Christina Aguilera in the Phillipines. So when we peppered him with questions as part of our new segment "Cultural Speedround," it's no wonder that Bustos had his answers at the ready — from art to architecture to movies, he's plugged in.
