Marketing exec given punchy eulogy she would've wanted

Following her tragic death, this woman was remembered in a fitting tribute.

VANCOUVER, B.C.—Praising the speech for its lean and snappy copy, friends, family and colleagues who attended Lauren Wilson's funeral this morning all agreed that Wilson's former boss, Eq2 vice president Daniel Cho, delivered the punchy eulogy she would've wanted.

"It was perfect in every way," said Wilson's lifelong friend Celeste Cronin, adding that she "knew Lauren would've just loved" the section on her painful and protracted struggle with heart disease, which "really popped" and "just zipped right along."

Wilson's only child, Justine, 22, was equally moved by Cho's tightly written little eulogy.

"It would've meant a lot to mom knowing all the focus groups and A/B testing Daniel went through to get it just right," said Wilson's bereaved daughter.

"And she would've been so touched by the custom Snapchat Geofilter and the lovely #RIPLauren hashtag everyone was using on Insta," she continued, explaining that her mother, more than anyone, appreciated content that played well with that hard-to-reach, tech-savvy millennial demo.

After delivering his eulogy and taking his place amongst the mourners, Cho was heartened to see all the solemn nods of recognition and eyes damp with tears, two key performance indicators that the content really landed, and signs, Cho knew, Wilson would've truly appreciated.
