Whether you're looking for a creative way to use up leftover denim scraps from a recent upcycling project, or are simply seeking a cute new bag to bring to work or school, this tutorial from Sewing Therapy's Sara SJ Kim is here to help.

In this episode of her CBC Life series, Sewing School, Sara demonstrates how to create a patchwork-style tote bag out of remnants of old jeans. She'll guide you through piecing together your desired pattern, adding a protective lining and inserting fusible interfacing for added structure.
