Pumping iron isn't the only way to get an effective upper body workout in. Case in point: this steamy routine from fitness coach Beverley Cheng that doesn't require any weights, but still brings the heat.
In the latest video from her series Body Zones, Beverley will lead you through 30 minutes of back, shoulder and tricep exercises that are designed to build muscle and leave you feeling the burn. You'll begin with an energizing warm-up, transition into some intense bodyweight and resistance band movements, then finish things off with a quick cardio blast to really get your heart pumping.

30-minute upper body workout
3 sets:
- Shoulder press x 30 secs
- Plank shoulder taps x 60 secs
- Bent over banded tricep extension x 30 secs
2 sets:
- Banded pull-aparts x 30 secs
- Bent over alternating rows x 60 secs
- Hand release push-ups x 30 secs
1 set:
- Mountain climbers x 30 secs
- Jumping jacks x 60 secs
- High knees x 30 secs
