After coming across a struggling baby goat at a small-town auction, Megan Mostacci and Mike Peddle saw a need to help farm animals who aren't legally protected like domestic animals, and are often mistreated as a result. Together the couple founded Black Goat Farm and Sanctuary, where injured, orphaned and abused farm animals are given a sprawling field to graze in and most importantly, lots of love.

"They are just like dogs," Megan says of the goats like Totes, Butters and Gregory who the couple has cared for over the past three years. They're full of personality, always want to play, and even know their own names. Check out the video below to peek inside the sanctuary and hear the stories of these adorable animals — we guarantee you'll have a hard time holding in your squees.
