When Benita and Craig decided to create their dream home, they made the lush forests of Horseshoe Bay, B.C. their muse. The result is this unique "treehouse" — which was first constructed in 1976 and was renovated extensively in 2017 — and no, it's nothing like the one your Dad built in the backyard. An architectural marvel of a home, this sprawling space spans several floors and incorporates nature in every way possible, from its exposed wood and preserved rock wall to its hanging "water droplet" light fixtures. Oh, and with the walls of windows providing tons of natural light, you can dine aside panoramic views of the fjords, and literally bathe in the moonlight come evening. Check out the video below to take the full tour and prepare to be awed by this one-of-a-kind hideaway.
