Breakdancing and three other sports have taken another step toward appearing at the Paris 2024 Olympics after the International Olympic Committee on Tuesday voted in favour of their inclusion.

Re-testing of more than a thousand samples from the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics uncovered only one athlete to have taken banned substances, the International Olympic Committee said on Monday.

The citizens of Hamburg on Sunday rejected a bid to host the 2024 summer Olympics with more than half voting against it in a referendum, killing the candidacy in its infancy, Hamburg mayor Olaf Scholz said.
