Apple iPhone 6 map of Canada confuses Toronto, Ottawa
Edmonton misplaced, Quebec mislabelled
Toronto on the Ottawa River? Edmonton west of Calgary? Apple seems to be a little confused when it comes to Canadian geography.
Consumers who hit Apple.ca to pre-order one of the company's new iPhones and clicked on a link about delivery timelines saw errors on the map of Canada.
Apple appeared to have mixed up the nation's capital and Ontario's capital, and placed Ottawa roughly where Toronto should be on the map.
Edmonton is also seen to be northwest of Calgary, instead of northeast.
And Quebec City is mistakenly labelled as Quebec.
A comment from Apple was not immediately available.
Delays elsewhere
Apple's having a few hiccups with their hotly anticipated product's rollout in other countries, too.
There are widespread reports of U.S. customers being told to expect delays of several weeks beyond the Sept. 19 launch date.
Carriers Verizon Wireless, AT&T and Sprint Corp.are telling customers via their own websites to expect delays.
And customers in China, where much of the phone's components are made and assembled, will have to wait until the end of the year — the company has yet to even name a release date in China, the world's largest smartphone market.
