3 injured in Burnaby apartment fire

Three people were injured after a suite in a Burnaby, B.C., apartment building caught fire early Monday morning.

Damage was limited mainly to one suite in the 20-storey building near Kingway and Edmonds Street and firefighters allowed residents back into by 6 a.m. PT.

It is not clear how the three people were injured, but police said one man in critical condition was found in a stairwell.
