Thomas Robert Holden, the last of 4 men charged, pleads guilty to conspiracy to commit murder
Thomas Robert Holden, the last of four men charged in a double murder in Mission eight years ago, has pleaded guilty to one charge of conspiracy to commit murder.
Holden, who was released on bail, will be sentenced in January for his role in the 2008 shooting murders of Lisa Dudley and Guthrie McKay.

—@BellePuriMission RCMP faced criticism in the case for not following up on a 911 call of shots fired. An officer sent to the home never got out of his car to investigate.
A neighbour found Dudley barely alive, bleeding and tied to a chair in the home four days after she was shot. She died a short time later.
The motive for the killings has been reported as involving a marijuana grow-operation.
Holden was also charged with two counts of first degree murder.

- A previous version of this story said Thomas Robert Holden pleaded guilty to two counts of first degree murder. However, the Criminal Justice Branch says the court registry made an error and in fact he pleaded guilty to one charge of conspiracy to commit murder.Sep 06, 2016 5:29 PM PT
