B.C. voters upset with Liberal government projection before West Coast polls close
Voters reacted with shock, many uncomfortable with early media projection
Voters in B.C. reacted with surprise and anger to media projections for a Liberal government before polls even closed.
With 20 minutes to polls closing in B.C., major media outlets including CBC and CTV were forecasting a Liberal win.
This vote differed from previous elections as media were allowed to report the results prior to all polls closing.
That upset some voters on the West Coast who were concerned their ballots had not yet been counted.

Unreal! A little early there, CBC. While it's entirely possible - this is not very responsible for a media outlet. https://t.co/acyI7VcG4h

Really upsetting that CBC calls the election before the polls even close in BC @cbcnewsbc

Some were concerned that voters who were already in line would walk away.
