BC Ferries has resumed service between the mainland and Vancouver Island after high winds forced the cancellations of several sailings earlier in the day.
The ferry service said it is working closely with Environment Canada to evaluate changing weather conditions.
Wind warnings are in effect for B.C.'s South Coast, with gusts of up to 100 km/h expected in some areas on Friday, according to Environment Canada.
