Wildfire near Nazko estimated knocked from 1,000 hectares down to 300
Wildfire burning near a small community 90 kilometres west of Quesnel
The BC Wildfire Service is currently fighting what was a 1,000 hectare fire burning near Nazko, a community approximately 90 kilometres west of Quesnel.

Now though, the fire is down to 300 hectares as firefighters and heavy equipment work to contain the blaze.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
