Thousands of people have been forced to leave their homes as wildfires burn near their communities in B.C. Here's a list of latest numbers for the wildfire situation.
159: Wildfires burning in the province as of Monday at 1 p.m. PT. 17 of those started on Saturday.
More than a dozen: Fires threatening communities.
40,000+ : Evacuees in the province, officials say, including 8,400 forced out of Williams Lake on Saturday.
20,000: British Columbians on evacuation alert.
11: Evacuation centres open across B.C.
Nearly 3,000: Firefighters, including over 450 from out of province
206: Aircraft fighting the fires.
$90 million: Money B.C. has spent fighting fires.
1,310 square kilometres: Area burned in since April 1
526 square kilometres: The largest fire burning as of Monday morning. It started on property near the Ashcroft Indian Reserve and has burned through several communities.
