Achievements: Watson is now one clean sheet away from the NCAA Division 2 Great Northwest Athletic Conference all-time record after registering the 27th shutout his SFU career Thursday evening in the Clan's 2-0 defeat of Seattle Pacific.

Watson has an opportunity to tie the record Saturday night when SFU hosts Western Washington University at Terry Fox Field.

Story: The former Victoria Highlanders FC and B.C. provincial team 'keeper is in his fourth and final year with SFU. A graduate of Reynolds Secondary, Watson has a goals against average of 0.62 through 11 games this season and is a big part of the Clan's 10-0-1 overall record.

Last year Watson did not concede a goal at home all season.

Watson joined SFU four years ago after being sidelined by injuries for almost two seasons while playing for NCAA Div. 1 Coastal Carolina University.  

The kinesiology major maintains a 4+ GPA.
