Canucks president Trevor Linden looking to bring back the fun
Linden holds out hope at Tuesday luncheon of Vancouver's movers and shakers
Vancouver Canuck fans haven't had much to cheer about lately, but at a Vancouver Board of Trade luncheon Tuesday, Canucks president Trevor Linden held out hope for a more entertaining experience for fans after a summer of rebuilding.
"We need to bring that hope back and recapture some of these guys who didn't have great years and put some fun back in the game and ultimately make Rogers Arena a better place," he said.
The team is a thousand tickets short of meeting its sales target and there is no longer an assumption the support will be there.
Management is promising the overall entertainment experience will be enhanced including improvements to the food and alcohol sold at games.
Linden and new Canucks coach Willie Desjardins say the team will better too.
