CN Police investigate armed train robbery in Kamloops

CN Police and Kamloops RCMP responded to an armed train robbery Monday around 7 a.m.

Police say the suspect fled the scene in a white sedan

CN Police and Kamloops RCMP responded to an armed train robbery Monday around 7 a.m.

RCMP officers were called to assist CN Police at the railway crossing at Tranquille Road and Ord Road. 

Few details have been released but both CN and Kamloops RCMP confirm that an armed suspect fled the scene in a white sedan.

The suspect is described as a white male, five foot eight, and between 30 and 40 years old. Police say he was wearing a balaclava, a black hat with a Puma logo in white, a black hoodie, and black jeans.

A CN spokesperson told CBC News he had never seen anything like this happen before.
