CBC is a proud partner of the 2nd Annual Sundar Prize Film Festival – an inspiring celebration of cinema that sparks meaningful conversations, amplifies underrepresented voices, and champions social impact. From April 10 to 13, 2025 at SFU Surrey and Landmark Cinemas Guildford, this festival will feature a diverse slate of 54 films, panels, and special events that shine a light on stories of empowerment and transformation.

This year's four-day festival centres around the theme "Life in Motion: Journeys of Growth and Discovery." Highlights include a Vaisakhi Special Screening featuring Vancouver Canucks player Arshdeep Bains, multiple  2SLGBTQ+ films, a compelling Indigenous spotlight, and more.

Join CBC's Baneet Braich on Sunday, April 13 at the screening of Harvesting Hope: Food as Healing and Activism—an inspiring documentary that showcases the power of Indigenous leadership in restoring sustainable farming practices.
