The Vancouver Park Board will vote next Monday on a new public art installation at the redesigned Hastings Park that would cost $450,000.

The rendering of installation shows it will have two bleachers reminiscent of the old Empire Field bleacher seating with signs above it that say "home" and "away."

Park users will be able to use the seating to view activities on the field and the installation may also include a playful slide exit back into the park.

If approved, the 'Home and Away' artwork will be installed late this year or early 2016.
