Facebook apology

One of the rescued skiers, identified as G-reg D-soy on Facebook, posted this thank you to North Shore Rescue:

The two 40 year-old-men skied out of bounds at Cypress Bowl Sunday and were then swept into a gully by an avalanche.

They were forced to spend the night on the mountain after NSR deemed the extreme avalanche risk made it too dangerous to attempt a night rescue.

The men were rescued Monday morning.
