Hockey dad Terry Litt charged with threatening 10-year-old
A Burnaby, B.C., hockey dad is facing charges for uttering threats against a 10-year-old player on his son's team.
RCMP say the incident happened inside the team dressing room at North Vancouver's Karen Magnussen Arena on the evening of Feb. 21.
The Burnaby Winter Club's Atom 3 team had just lost a playoff game to a team from North Vancouver.
RCMP allege Terry Litt, 57, whose son played on the defeated team, threatened his son's teammate in the dressing room after the game
Police aren't releasing any details about what was said, but they issued an arrest warrant and Litt turned himself in.
The Crown has charged Litt with uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm. Litt appeared in a North Vancouver courtroom yesterday.
