Homicide detectives investigate suspicious death of Surrey woman

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team [IHIT] is on the scene of a suspicious death in Surrey, which has left one woman dead and another person injured in a home near 140th Street and 94th Avenue.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team [IHIT] is on the scene of a suspicious death in Surrey, which has left one woman dead and another person injured in a home near 140th Street and 94th Avenue.

Police say it is a domestic-related incident.

Officers were alerted to a disturbance in the home just before noon and upon arriving found two people who were hurt.

In a statement police said a woman had died as a result of her injuries.

It does not mention if the other person injured is a man or a woman.

Officers are not releasing the names of the woman who died or the person injured until their families are notified.
