Highway 3 reopens after serious crash near Creston, B.C.
The multi-vehicle collision sent 4 people to hospital on Wednesday

Highway 3 has reopened east of Creston, B.C., after a serious crash on Wednesday sent four people to hospital.
RCMP said the collision happened around 6:30 a.m. on Highway 3, roughly one kilometre east of Canyon-Lister Road.
The highway was closed for nearly 17 hours, with no detour immediately available for several hours. It briefly reopened to single-lane traffic before being shut down again in the evening.
In an update just before midnight Thursday, DriveBC said the section between Canyon-Lister Road and Lakeview Arrow Creek Road had reopened.
B.C. Emergency Health Services said four people were injured in the crash. One patient was flown to hospital in serious condition by a STARS ambulance.
"Three patients were transported by ground ambulance to hospital in serious condition. They were subsequently transported by air ambulance for further care," said Brian Twaites, a paramedic public information officer.
Paramedics responded to the scene with five ambulances, a paramedic response unit and three air ambulances.
Details on the number of vehicles involved or the cause of the crash have not been released.
