Woman with cat sought by police after kitten goes missing

Langley, B.C. RCMP are looking for a woman who was was seen carrying a cat after a kitten allegedly went missing from a Value Village.

Update: RCMP say they have identified a person of interest in what they describe as a "theft of kitten" case.

Langley, B.C. RCMP are looking for a young woman who was seen carrying a kitten after one allegedly went missing from a Value Village. 

Mounties say another woman shopping at the store Oct. 24 put a kennel down with three kittens inside while she walked around the store.

When she returned, one of the kittens was missing.

Police say a young woman was seen in the store carrying a kitten. When she was told by staff pets weren't permitted, police say she left.

She is described as a Caucasian female wearing light orange coloured boots, black leggings and has darker hair. 

Anyone who can identify the woman in the pictures is asked to call the Langley RCMP.
