Langley RCMP say the Greater Vancouver Zoo parking lot is part of their investigation after a man was found injured with a gunshot wound to the leg.
Police say they don't yet know if violence is connected to Sunday homicide on 72nd Avenue near Highway 1
Langley RCMP say the Greater Vancouver Zoo parking lot is part of their investigation after a man was found injured with a gunshot wound to the leg on Sunday evening.
Police also responded in numbers to a McDonald's parking lot at 264 Street and 56 Avenue, but Cpl. Holly Largy cannot confirm what, if any, connection there is to the man being shot.
Largy says it is also too early to say if the shooting is related to a homicide being investigated after a man was found critically injured in the 23700 block of 72 Avenue earlier Sunday.
The man with the gunshot wound to the leg is being treated in hospital. His injuries are described by police as non-life-threatening.
