Lotto Max ticket worth $12.5M sold in B.C.

The Lotto Max jackpot drought is officially over.

Four winning tickets were drawn last night for the $50 million grand prize. Each ticket is worth $12.5 million.

One winning ticket was sold in British Columbia, another in Ontario, and two in the Prairies.

Also up for grabs — 50 Maxmillions prizes of $1 million each — 22 of which were claimed by 27 winning tickets.

Two of those winning tickets were sold in B.C., 10 in the Prairies, one in Atlantic Canada, another in Quebec, and 13 in Ontario.

The jackpot for next Friday's Lotto Max will be approximately $38 million.
