Man stabbed to death in Richmond, B.C.

A 38-year-old man is dead after an apparent domestic dispute in Richmond, B.C., early Tuesday morning.

Police responded to a 911 call at an apartment near the Lansdowne Centre shopping complex at around 12:30 a.m. PT.

Sgt. Jennifer Pound said it appears the victim was stabbed, though an autopsy is needed to confirm.

Attempts to revive the victim failed and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 35-year-old woman, believed to be the victim's wife, has since been arrested and taken into custody.

Police are withholding the man's name while next of kin is notified.
