NBA champion shooting guard signed autographs, held a meet-and-greet with fans
Danny Green is in Vancouver. If you're a Raptors fan, you're probably excited.
If you're not a Raptors fan, you've probably heard his name because basketball has been inescapable in Canada recently.
The shooting guard who helped Toronto take the NBA title last month signed autographs Friday at the opening of a new London Drugs in the Dunbar neighbourhood.
Around two hundred fans lined up to catch a glimpse of the Raptor, including Ferdinand Manzan who started getting in line at 3:30 a.m. Friday.

Wearing a vintage Damon Stoudamire jersey from the 90s, Manzan said he had been a fan for years.
"I wouldn't miss this for anything ... it means everything to me."
Green said he was thankful for all the love and support from the fans.
"We're just normal people who happen to play basketball ... We happened to win this year which is a great feeling," Green said.
Future as a Raptor uncertain
Friday's event took place as Green's future in Toronto hangs in limbo.
He's currently a free agent, which means he could stay with the Raptors next season or switch teams. He didn't reveal any hints as to his future during the meet and greet.
This week, on his podcast Inside The Green Room, Green said he's waiting to see what happens with his teammate, Kawhi Leonard, who's also a free agent and mulling a move.
In the meantime, Green has been touring across Canada, including a visit last weekend at a Winnipeg youth basketball camp.
"All the camps have been sold out. All the kids have been enjoying it," Green said.
He's hosting a similar camp in Richmond, B.C., this weekend.
