Shenanigans Nightclub fight leaves 60-year-old Vancouver man dead
Police are looking for a person of interest in connection with the Aug. 11 incident
Vancouver police have issued a picture of a man considered to be a person of interest in the suspicious death of a 60-year-old man, who died after being injured outside the Shenanigans Nightclub.
Witnesses say there was an altercation outside the club, on Robson St. near Bute St. on Tuesday, during which the man was punched and knocked to the ground.
He was taken to hospital, believed to have suffered a minor head injury, but refused treatment and left.
Paramedics were later called to a West End apartment, where the man was found unresponsive. Tests revealed a massive brain bleed and the man was pronounced dead on Wednesday morning.
Police have issued an image of a person of interest in the altercation in the hopes of identifying him.
He is described as white, in his 20s and five feet 10 inches tall with a heavy build. He was wearing a button-up shirt and a baseball cap (worn backwards) at the time of the incident.
