The plane remained in Vancouver for several hours during its stopover before taking off again for Tokyo.
The plane is part of a promotional tour drumming up excitement in the lead-up to the film, Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens.
All Nippon Airways, the operator of the jet, will also be flying the plane to San Jose, Seattle, Sydney, Munich and Paris. It is the first airline to offer all six Star Wars films on-board its international flights.
