2 missing Indigenous girls found, Surrey police say

Police say the two missing youths they were searching for on July 21 have been located, safe.

Surrey police say the two young Indigenous girls they were searching for on July 21 have been found, safe and sound. 

The Surrey Police Service previously said the pair had not been seen since about 11:30 p.m. PT on Sunday in the 14500 block of 106 Avenue in Surrey. Police and family were concerned for their well-being. 

"Thank you to the public and media who shared the information," Surrey police said in a statement Monday afternoon.
