Surrey RCMP arrest man following Guildford area shooting
46-year-old Allen Jesse Hiscock captured on outstanding arrest warrant
Surrey RCMP have arrested a man in connection with a shooting in the Guildford area that injured one man.
Police say they arrested 46-year-old Allen Jesse Hiscock on Sunday without incident after a warrant was issued for his arrest in October.
Hiscock has been charged with assault with a weapon and possession of a prohibited weapon.
The shooting took place in the early morning hours of May 5, 2018, in the 10300 block of 149A Street in Surrey.
Police heard the sounds of gunfire near the RCMP's Guildford district office and found an injured man who was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Police say a suspect vehicle was tracked to the 9500 block of 120 Street.
Three people associated with the vehicle were arrested and taken into custody, two of whom were charged in connection with the shooting.
One person was released. Investigators say the attack was targeted.
