Indulging in chocolate can be done year-round, but it is especially enjoyable and guilt-free during the holidays.

"It's not Christmas without chocolate," chocolatier Christophe Bonzon told Our Vancouver.

Bonzon, who owns Chez Christophe Chocolaterie Patisserie in Burnaby, discovered chocolate at a young age and studied how to create it in his native Switzerland as well as France, before coming to Canada.

In the video above he shows CBC host Gloria Macarenko how to make one of his specialties, blackberry chocolate truffles with Christmas spice.
