Targeted shooting in Surrey sends man to hospital
Surrey RCMP say the shooting happened around 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday night in the Newton neighbourhood and that the incident appears to be targeted.
Police say the victim's injuries are non-life threatening

A man is in hospital after a targeted shooting in Surrey late Tuesday night.
Surrey RCMP received a report of shots fired at a house in the 12100-block of 68 Avenue around 8:00 p.m. PT.
When officers responded, they found found an adult man suffering from a gunshot wound at the house.
He was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. It's unknown if any suspects were arrested.
Police are still investigating the incident and believe it was a targeted event. Anyone with information is asked to contact Surrey RCMP.
