Vancouver Pride Parade wows with colourful outfits and vibrant energy

Downtown Vancouver was lit up with rainbows, glitter and parade marchers who dressed for the occasion on Sunday.

The Vancouver Pride Parade buzzed with loud, boisterous energy on Sunday — fuelled by electrifying music and outfits that were a feast for the eyes and I was there for all of it, capturing the parade on Facebook Live, including Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's historic participation.

Many were inspired to dress in their most colourful clothes for the annual parade, which strives to include people from all communities.

The CBC Vancouver team proudly showed its colours and before the march began at noon, the team was held in a staging area on Thurlow by Robson Street where they took a 360 degree photo.
