Charges laid after man found dead in Vancouver condo

Second-degree murder charges have been laid after a man was found dead in a Vancouver condo on Saturday.

Sofien Kazdaghli, 39, was found in the apartment at 438 Seymour Street shortly after 8 a.m.

On Sunday, Diego Alphonso Huerta was arrested and has since been charged with second-degree murder in the case.

The 21-year-old was apprehended just as he was boarding a Greyhound bus "out of the city," said police.

Const. Jason Doucette said Huerta and Kazdaghli both lived in the Seymour Street condo building.
